A restriction cloning strategy built end to end in Talindrew's cloning workspace: pull the ase1 gene from the S. pombe reference genome on NCBI, add the pFA6a-kanMX6 backbone from Addgene, design primers and run an in-silico PCR, digest insert and vector with SalI and AscI, and ligate them into the final construct. Every step is a node on one canvas, so the whole provenance chain stays visible.
